Teas were originally popularized and discovered by Chinese, which is why there is the so called Chinese tea. All around the world people drink tea. Now not only china but lots of other countries are all producing tea although all tea trees originated from China. The Chinese were one of the most popular characters in our history. They go all around with their silk, porcelain and teas. They move from one place to another to find the perfect place for business and the place where they can earn most, which is why many Chinese are visible around us and not only people but also businesses managed and owned by Chinese.

Chinese are one of the richest people, when it comes to culture and their knowledge in managing business.  Commonly we can find Chinese restaurants all over the city and they offer variety of Chinese delicacies. Chinese tea is one of the most common that Chinese restaurants serve. In this article we are to focus on the common Chinese tea being served in Chinese restaurants.

The most popular tea served is Jasmine tea, Green tea, Oolong tea, Pur-erh tea and Dynasty blend. Jasmine is one of the most widespread teas offered in Chinese restaurants. Jasmine tea is a floral scented tea done by mixing tea with jasmine flower. It has a strong floral aroma that marks in the drinkers head. Green tea is usually used as base for jasmine tea. This is also common in mainland China and Taiwan. There is great diversity in Chinese green tea; it has a toastier taste compared to Japanese tea because most of it is pan fired.  Some have a moderate cloudy aroma, as the tea is openly cooked in   woks heated by firewood as fuel. This tea is further commonly served in more traditional Chinese restaurants. Oolong is also sometimes spelled “wu long” is a partly-oxidized tea, midway of green and black teas. Many oolongs served in Chinese restaurants are roasted moderately strongly, giving them a dark color and a roasted aroma. Pu-erh is also known as bo-lay. Usually serve as traditional accompaniment with dim sum. Authentic bo-lay used in the creation of pur-erh is unusual and expensive. It is served in Chinese restaurants with a mixture of different teas and oils to stimulate the taste and give an oily texture. Dynasty Blend is a mixture of oolong, jasmine and green tea. It is normally served in Chinese restaurants because of its flexibility. It can go with any meal and can either be served hot or cold.

Teas do not only show the culture of China but also exhibit to us the reason of having a healthy lifestyle. Teas give drinkers advantages when it comes to health, physicality and emotional relaxation.
