How to prepare Chinese tea eggs

First you have to know the ingredients. So we need to have 6 eggs, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of salt, 2 tablespoons  of Chinese five spice powder, 1 star anise, 1 tea bag which is either black or pu’er tea. Now, this is optional, earthy mushrooms.

You fill the saucepan with water and then bring the water to a boil. You must use the medium heat so that you won’t destroy the right color of the finished product. Always remember, the temperature of the heat always matter.

Now is the time for you to add up all the 6 eggs you have. You have then to turn the fire off and let it take the weight off your feet for like 15 minutes. After this, allow the eggs to drain and get to cool down.
